I'm Kami and I'm so glad you found me!

I have always loved dogs.  I was in college when my first dog Nala rescued me.  She was a mutt in an abandoned litter, and she had my heart from the first moment I saw her.  I brought her home and we have been together ever since.

At that time, I knew very little about dog behaviors, but Nala and I learned together.   A couple of years into having Nala, I decided to invest in some structured training, so I researched and found an option that fit.  The moment I took Nala to training changed both of our lives.   We have worked through many of her issues, and I started my career in working with dogs.  I love training puppies, but I can work with any breed and any age.

• I have been there.  I know what it is like to genuinely love your dog and want to help them.  I can empathize and develop a program that fits you and your dog’s unique needs.

• I am tenacious (some may even call me stubborn), but that allows me to out-stubborn your dog.  Just like people not every dog learns the same way and I will work with your dog and try different techniques until I find the one thing that works for them. 

• I have 3 dogs of my own, all with their own personalities.  I have learned a lot from them, and I can use them to help socialize your dog.

• I focus on increasing my knowledge and skills daily.  I have 3 years professional experience training dogs, running classes, leading sessions (virtual and in-person) and studying dog behaviors.  I attend seminars, and have personally worked with hundreds of dogs in many situations.  I have a huge network of friends in this business, and we collaborate with each other when needed.

I take my dogs with me everywhere, from restaurants.  river floating experiences, hiking and many other adventures.  Having well behaved dogs is very important to me, and I would love to help you and your dog.
